Meet Our Scholars
This year, we've awarded scholarships to 50 deserving students from across Kenya. Here are just a few of their inspiring stories:
Faith Wanjiru
Growing up in Mathare slums, Faith faced numerous challenges but never gave up on her dream of becoming a doctor. Despite studying by candlelight and working part-time to support her family, she scored an impressive A- in her KCSE exams. Today, she's pursuing a degree in Medicine at the University of Nairobi.
Daniel Kipchirchir
Raised by a single mother in rural Baringo County, Daniel walked 10km to school each day. His determination earned him top grades, and he's now studying Computer Science at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
Amina Hassan
As a girl from a conservative community in Garissa, Amina had to overcome cultural barriers to education. Her persistence paid off, and she's now pursuing Environmental Science at Kenyatta University, with dreams of addressing climate change issues in her community.
Long-term Impact
